Here's a brief newsletter with a free E-book and a reminder about out free challenge to begin your memoir/ personal narrative.
Take the ME ME ME out of the personal narrative. The worst writing class on memoir I ever took instructed everyone to write down significant life events, put them in order, write the scenes and voila: it's a memoir. But that memoir is just a series of event. We connect to our audience with thematic narratives. Great topics help, but theme is essential.
This June 26 at 11am (replays available in our FB group) we begin a new book of narrative nonfiction. Join us as we find our stories. And I mean "WE." I'm beginning a new book with you. We are going to find meaning from life events.
We meet again on June 27 at 12:30 pm (replays available in our FB group) and after two days--we'll have a path to our memoir. Attendees will also get a HUGE discount to our brand new Complete Memoir Course. The course includes live group workshop sessions, a private FB Group for support and a proven path to writing your memoir. We'll be writing together and going through the steps together although you can take much longer as the course assets will be there for you if you have a longer timetable.
