Pura Vida!

Holy Week is coming up and it's a great time to make traditional Costa Rican recipes for the season. Plus, they are delicious.

Here are a few of my favorites:

• Tamal de masa (I recently made this for my family and forgot the sugar. It was terrible so don't do that! 😂)
• Tamal mudo
• Empanadas de chiverre- if you can't get chiverre where you live then a fig jam is a great substitution
• Tuna with crackers. I don't need to say more.
