Hello!

I wanted to pop in quickly and let you know that I rounded up some of my favorite recipes for Semana Santa in Costa Rica.

We spent 2019 in Costa Rica with our kids, and this time of year is both special for us and nostalgic this year as we spend it at home.

I'll never forget making empanadas with good friends, eating tamales with our folkloric dance group, and gorging on beef empanadas last Easter Sunday after the girls participated in Mass.

This year is definitely a bit different- but we have had lots of time to bake! This week we made tons of empanadas and plan to do some American Easter traditions too- dyeing Easter eggs and waiting for the Easter bunny.
