Buenos dias!
Anyone else craving a casado right now? More than anything I'm craving a trip to the beach in Costa Rica, but the next best thing is a casado.
If you aren't familiar with a casado, it's a traditional Costa Rican lunch consisting of rice, beans, picadillo, plantain and some sort of protein. Usually served with a fresh natural juice. And it's divine.
And guess what?! I've never posted a casado recipe!
That's where you come in- will you reply and let me know what is your favorite casado? Mine's with carne en salsa and picadillo de chayote. Yum.

It includes substitutions and variations, although there aren't a ton. If you need more info or a specific variation you can't get from there, just let me know and I'll look into it!
