Jabs For Children (12-17) From October In Zydus Cadila Rollout: Official
Details of the vaccination of children between 12 and 17, including prioritising those with health complications, will be announced before the Zydus Cadila vaccine is rolled out in October, the government's Covid panel chief NK Arora has said. He also suggested that schools should be reopened, citing the latest sero survey to explain that children are less likely to get severe Covid infection.
RailTel Launches AI-Based Attendance For 48,000 Government Schools In Assam
State-owned RailTel Corporation of India Ltd said it has implemented an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based attendance system for 48,000 government schools across Assam. RailTel has completed the work of deploying an AI-based identification system for capturing attendance and management of SDMIS (Student Database Management Information System) for government schools in Assam, the company said in a statement.
"Just Like An Airplane": Delhi Makes Mohalla Clinics From Containers
Mohalla clinics in Delhi- the big health initiative of Arvind Kejriwal's government- will now be made compact and portable, solving the government's big hurdle -- land. Made out of shipping containers, these clinics will be installed mainly in the densely populated slum areas, which get a huge number of patients.

Afghanistan: India evacuates diplomats amid security concerns
India has evacuated its ambassador and all other diplomats from Afghanistan, the foreign ministry said. They were flown out in a special military flight on Tuesday to the Hindon airbase near capital Delhi.
The aircraft was carrying around 150 people, including diplomats, officials, security personnel and some stranded Indians.
India links with Maldives with uber connectivity project
The 6.74 km long bridge and causeway link will connect Maldives' capital Male with adjoining islands of Villingli, Gulhifalhu and Thilafushi. The project has been funded under Indian grant of $100 million and line of credit of $400 million and will be bigger than the one built by China.
