I also shared that my word for this year is “balance” and that one of my goals for 2021 is to write more (because we all want more Orion’s Order books like yesterday right? ?). . So, in the spirit of all of that, I’m officially heading to the self-care cave where I’ll be slumbering like a hibernating bear ??for a hot minute. ? Then I’ll roll on over to the writing cave with the goal in mind to finish Orion’s Order book 4. ???. . As I reflect about this past year, sooo much comes to mind... starting with birthing Orion's Order into the world. . Publishing Calypso's Heart and Rhyker's Key has been such an emotional and vulnerable experience! And I would not be here today or who I am today writing this without you - yes, *YOU*!. . Your support has been a source of strength. . Your messages... encouragement to keep going. . Your memes... moments of much needed laughs and smiles. . Your feedback... instrumental as I grow into the author I hope to one day become. . Your excitement... sparks of inspiration. . Your eagerness... courage to get up, dust myself off, and take another step forward. . . Since sharing Calypso's Heart with the world, there have been *countless* times I have been face to face with self doubt, fear, panic... and that strong as hell urge to run and hide. . And each time it looked like they were going to win, I kid you not, I would get a message from you. Saying you read Calypso's Heart and Rhyker's Key and loved it. Saying you can't wait for the next book. Saying it was the best book you read this year. Saying you fell in love with the characters as much as I. Saying so so so many things (and sharing things about yourself and pictures of your fur-babies) that truly forever has impacted my life and whoever my future self becomes. .
