Wow, it's been a really long while!

How are you doing? Sadly we had some troubles with our mailing system which stopped us from being able to send out mails since the beginning of the year. However, we have been able to sort that out and we are excited to be in your mailbox again. I won't say Happy New Year since it's the third month of the year, so, I will say welcome to March!

We started on a busy note this year in our community and academy . We introduced our monthly guest appearance and we have had two amazing guests for January and February who shared their experiences and expertise with us.

We also began a program to bring more practical/ hands-on approach to parenting. In this program, we are teaching parents how to take charge and be at the forefront of their children's learning and education, and not just relegate this responsibility to the schools and caregivers.

It is our hope and dream that we can make parents recognize that we don't have forever to parent, so we must make the best of the short time we have to equip ourselves to empower our children.

"My Everyday Parenting Journey" is our monthly program where we go on a journey with parents who want to deal with specific areas of their children's life and learning. We take one topic per month and support parents through a hand-holding process. We provide knowledge, information, tools, challenges, and accountability during the duration of the program.

In January we worked with parents to create structures in their homes (family values, vision, mission, plans, etc)

In February we were on an exciting journey to teach parents how they can use fun activities, tools and motivation to help their children cultivate the habit of reading for leisure.

This month , we are all set to embark on yet another one month jorney with the March cohort to help parents create a stimulating environment in their homes for lifelong learning.
