When we got to the airport and had to deal with some major schedule changes we turned to the children and said, " Hey, it is what it is, so let's make the best of it." 

Truth is there is always a good reason for everything that happens if we choose not to dwell on the negative. So, make the best of what you have and be grateful for it and for what you can do.

We are teaching our children to learn to make excuses for others and to learn to find solutions.

"It's not that hard" plus there are two things we should never complain about as my coach puts it ;

1. The things that you can change ...

solution: change them!

2. The things you can't change...

solution: learn from them and move on to other things.

Service through Impact is one of our core values and empathy and gratitude are two BIG parts of this . So here we are with a great teachable opportunity.So yes we made the best of every minute.

Meals, family jokes, visited stores, read books, explored a while bookstore (chai my wallet hear am!🤣, made friends with airport staff, and asked many questions. I got to do some work and yeah...the kids got to to chill with Captain L in the cockpit!

Mbok don't ask me how long we were at that airport o🤣 . Just ask me, how much fun we had!
