A few days ago we on-boarded a new cohort of the mastermind circle. As I worshipped the morning before the onboarding ceremony, I became emotional, just realizing the level of trust that the parents who have enrolled their children have in us.

I feel humbled that God would count my 13-year-old and me worthy to put the assignment of co-building with him before us.

He has chosen us as 'saviors' in this generation and has made me a "Masterpiece and yet a work in progress." in the words of my mentor, Wendy Ologe.No wonder HE would reveal a new aspect of the curriculum to us this morning while in HIS presence, like BOOM! Add this to the curriculum.

This is work we've spent months creating o, yet a few hours before take-off this comes up. Indeed I'm just a messenger. The message is beyond me.

I look at my teenage son whom I partner with on this assignment and I'm humbled to be on this assignment with him.

His passion for this assignment in this cohort has left me in awe...I see this 13-year-old choose to stay up longer than his bedtime to learn a process he needs in the circle.

I see him pick up some of his father's and my books he needs to improve himself, I see him gathering resources and spending a whole week seeking God's face in prayer and waiting because he chooses to and I'm marvelled by this committement.

As we declare the 2023/2024 cohort of the Mastermind Circle open and get set to begin more intense activities with the partners, I'm certain about one thing, that we will birth MASTERMINDS who will evolve with every passing day.

Learning to take the front stage of their lives at a young age, they will become self-assured, self-sufficient, self-confident, self-directing, empathic, knowledgeable God-loving, high fliers, and impactful.
