From: Amram and Jochebed

The account from Exodus 2 talked about the birth of Moses at the time when Pharaoh had commanded the killing of all male children born of Hebrew parents.

While Moses' parents Amram and Jochebed could have accepted their faith like many other parents and have their son snatched to a faith that is inevitable, they decided to put their faith to work and do everything within their power for their son to live.

πŸ”Ί ️They hid the child for 3 months - just imagine the work that would have gone into keeping an infant unheard

πŸ”ΊοΈ They got a papyrus basket and coated it with tar and pitch ,placed the child in it and placed it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile- Imagine the planning and intentionality that went into this, how early they must have set out and how careful and discrete the whole exercise carried out by the entire family must have been.

You can tell they did all these with the end in mind.

πŸ”ΊοΈ Then his older sister stood at a distant to see what happened to him- They had a monitoring plan too.

πŸ”ΊοΈ Finally after Pharaoh's daughter found the baby, his sister understood her assignmemt; to show up and suggest someone who could support the child to meet his needs.

Hence the baby's mother was brought to nurse her child, and was even paid for it! (I stan!)πŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ

⚠️ Dear Parents,

All these happened for Moses to fulfil his purpose and every bit of it was tied to that purpose.

πŸ‘‰ Do you understand your role as custodian, steward, teacher, caretaker and enabler in your child's purpose?

πŸ‘‰ Parents who understand the task before them do everything to identify what their children NEED and become intentional about providing these needs .

πŸ‘‰ They support 100% , seek help, collaboration and anything it takes for the champion within the child to emerge.

πŸ‘‰ Such parents understand their role in helping their children find and live that purpose like Moses.

And this is why we have created the Mentor Parent Program, to help such parents reach their goals by first identifying their children's needs, create plans, creat monitoring systems, teach and let the child find GRIT and emerge.
