So after picking her and the other kids from school and offering them some goodies as usual, my little madam decided to ask her what work she does.

Not very sure where this was going my friend who is a seasoned banker and presently between jobs told her she takes care of her children.

Hear what my daughter said next, " Yes I know parents take care of their children, but what do you do to earn money?"

My friend had a good laugh and jokingly told her, " Yes, their dad pays me a good allowance for the extra work I do to take care of them."

Not satisfied, my dear daughter walked over to her husband and wanted to hear from the horse's mouth. " Sir, is it true you pay Aunty Zee to take care of my friends?

After having a good laugh too, he gave her an answer which of course she accepted, but...

For where madam still came home to discuss and try to understand the impact of the job and what she will be doing when they are in school?

Because according to her, taking care of your children, isn't that what parents are supposed to do. It's like me saying that making pancakes on Saturday is my job, am I not supposed to do that for the family?

It was only after a long conversation that she understood that raising and supporting children excellently can be a part of a person's purpose.
