Who are you raising?

I need you to think about this question before you continue reading.

Okay, now that you have answered the question, let me see if I can guess who you are raising.

You are raising a King. One who is comfortable in his/her skin and needs no validation

A giant who is being equipped to understand principles and the times and seasons of their generation. One who is driven by purpose.

One who understands their assignment, whose fulfilment is intrinsic (comes from within) and is making great impacti in the world with their solution.

If you know this is who you are raising, then, you will understand why you must TELL them how the world works.

πŸ“Œ Tell them they don't need validation from anyone: When you are big ,you are big'

πŸ“Œ tell them not everyone will love them and not everyone will congratulate them when they win. Winners don't ask for permission to win, so they don't need other people to validate their wins .

πŸ“Œ Teach them not to be slaves of praise and that it's okay to enjoy the fulfilment they get from the success of their impact. What other people think shouldn't bother them.

πŸ“Œ Tell them some of their friends will not congratulate them at some point, it's okay, some people do not know how to handle other people winning. Pay no attention, focus on those who need them. They aren't called for everyone.

πŸ“Œ Tell them life isn't all about friends and foes. A person may choose not to be a friend, but that doesn't make them a foe. Focus!‘‘

πŸ‘‰πŸΏHear this, all the money in the bank won't give your child a rich self-esteem. Ignorance in parenting can birth a talented king billionaire who still struggles with self esteem.

Most of that pain they'll suffer when the lights are off and the curtains are drawn.

Yes, and in some cases, they suffer damages they never recover from...

Question once again is, "Who are you raising, and how are you empowering them?
