I grew up listening to stories told by my father. My dad would tell folktales, stories about his childhood in Cameroon, his days as a boy scout with the missionaries, and about the Biafran war. There were lessons learned, connections made, entertainment, and values all embedded in those stories.

When I started having kids of my own, I followed in his stride; I would tell them stories of my childhood, read stories to them, and then inspire them through the stories of people who have done great things in the past and young people already doing amazing things. I would spend hours putting inspiring stories together and struggle to tell these stories in understandable ,yet fun ways while flipping through my appliance for the visual experience of the stories.

Then the idea came after a good friend and I spoke about this. Why don’t I create a rich collection of inspiring stories told in a simple and fun way that is inspiring and thought-provoking.

So, I did, and I bring this to you!
