You don't believe me?

Let me say it again, your child is going to be alright!

 Yes…

That one you call 'restless'

That one you call   'dull'

That one you call 'slow'

That one you call 'lazy'

But first you must stop with all these names and stereotypes p-l-e-a-s-e…

If you have stopped , then I have gist for you.

You really need to stop comparing your child with anyone else…

...each child's development pathway is different and although there are milestone indicators, your child being a little behind is just fine.

What your child needs is a little nurturing and stimulation and then watch them thrive.

Now back to  that my gist…

So by the time our son was about 5 we were invited to his school for a meeting because the little man won't write in school. 

When we had a conversation with him he simple said" But mummy I know it why do I have to write it?

"Because sometimes the only way you can give feedback is by writing." I answered .

So we got handwriting  practice books, started writing stories and journaling.

We've worked on this over the years , and although he still asks the same question every now and then, he now writes beautifully, turns in his work at school as due and everybody is happy.

It took some time alright ,but it was the least of our problems because we knew he would  achieve it with our support,practice and consistency.

So I will say it for the last time 

That child is going to be just FINE!
