"Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father.”

As I sat down in church yesterday with our daughter next to me and our son not too far away , I pondered those words and prayed in my heart that they strike a cord in the mind of the children too.

The scripture uses two items to portray what we should be in/to the world ;

📌Light and Salt

👉🏿 The light is clearly what gives us a way in the dark. It is essential to help us find a clear path through the darkness.

👉🏿The salt gives taste and preserves foods, without which there will be decay and tastelessness.

This tells us that we must give light to the world and preserve our society from all the mess that leads to corruption and decay. We must be ready to give life a meaning.

We can truly be this through our good works and the value we add to the world .

Our behaviour with our family, the people we work with and the people we encounter daily all point to how we live our roles as LIGHT & SALT in and to the world.

Our children are watching, they see and then they hear, always remember this.

I told the children in the Mastermind Circle this morning, " There is no time to waste, when you have something to do , rise up and do it now!" 

I want you to charge your children to do the same today. Rise up, chin up, and say ,"Yes I can!"

Go out and be kind to others, do the things you have to do, bless the world with the gift of you.

Be the SALT to the earth and the LIGHT in a dark dark world.
