I told a colleague of mine once ,do you know that in one classroom and as one teacher you can take your students on a whole adventure of learning beyond the scope of the scheme of work? 

I'll give you an example , I've always been very huge on building Public Speaking Skills . I love it when children can express themselves and talk about what they've learned, because I believe if you can't discuss what you've learnt ,then you haven't learned yet . 

To ensure all my children (students) honed this skill, I allotted 20 marks our of their 60 marks assessment for weekly verbal presentations.Omo, by the end of that semester , all of my children were 'on fire' when it came to being comfortable on stage and doing presentations. 

Ofcourse my biological children have been armed with this VALUABLE lifeskill and honing it is a priority.

Visions like this is what we are replicating in the Mastermind Circle , where we are helping the children ( partners) build skills in all areas .

I love to read the report of their weekly or daily activities, and I love to send them off to get answers to their own questions and it's amazing the results they come back with , because being able to research and find answers is a great way to make children lifelong learners .

Our curriculum and process at the Mastermind Circle is built to raise WHOLESOME children, and after 2years , we are making progress in leaps.
