"Mummy don't worry, I want to go abroad because I must stop this boy, this brother of mine from leaving his family and country."

This conversation ensued while we were reading this beautiful book about Finland that we got as a souvenir.👇🏽

Yes in my home, travels are incomplete without good books( books are as good as the chocolates) especially the ones about the country visited. 

So when their dad handed them this, they were thrilled and decided we start reading it as our shared book for the month ( we share an interesting book as a family from time to time )

I guess the beautiful scenery and history in the book triggered some lingering thoughts in our son which gave me a peek into the kind of conversations he shares with his friends.

 And I asked the question, " Why would you rather live abroad?"

It's a beautiful Monday, I hope you have the best start to an amazing week. Remember, knowledge is the best empowerment you can offer your child. 

Raise them to enjoy learning, analysing and understanding the world and its issues ( spiritual, political historic, religious, cultural entertainment etc ) by pointing them to facts.

 Let your children read, research, infer, analyse and form their opinions and choices based on facts and deep insight.

Give them access to knowledge, even if you didn't / don't have it. 

It is a wicked SIN to raise a MEDIOCRE in today's world.

Say this out load with your chest, "I CAN NOT raise an IDI.OT in the 21st century!"
