I remember talking to our son about the idea of taking up a project every decade , something that he can do that will impact others. At first the response was, " I can't think of anything now mum." 

Then he thought he'd make miniature car or puzzles for children which I thought was just fine, but when I asked him how he would go about it , he had no clue. 

So I said to him, "Why don't you start with something you know and understand. Something that you don't have to depend on others to bring alive. 

So, he thought about it and decided he was going to publish a book. He thought of a fiction book , then changed his mind since fiction is not his first love.

 He thought of a schince based story , but though he would do better with that when he starts using a standard laboratory in secondary school and doing more projects.

Then he said, why don't I write about my journey ,after all I've been documenting that in my journal. Hence the birth of " Baby Steps" 

Kamsy talked about why he decided to write his book and also shared some stories about his mentors and people who have worked with him over the years at his book launch 2days ago. When you listen to him would agree that he's aware and involve in his process

I decided to do a small easy to read parent version to give parents a parent's perspective of 'effective support' which happens to be in the simple things most times.
