When our son was about 3years old I took a job as a School Manager and while working within the school system it became clear to me that there was more to educating a child than just paying school fees and hiring a bunch of lesson teachers to work with them.

It became clear that no way can the school do it all. I realized there were certain things the schools relied on parents to do. Guess what, right there I started taking paid causes, some I would attend after work hours , online and others at the weekend.

Fast forward, about a year and a half into that job I decided to move to a more structured international school as a Teaching Assistant because I wanted to work with children directly and so would like to learn from seasoned teachers with a global perspective. 

My discovery, this can NEVER be done by the school alone. You get involved or your child struggles! period!!!

Oh my...I realized the teachers depend on you to tell them who your child is, not the other way round. Because this is the secret to helping them know how best to support your child.

What I did next?

I created an INDIVIDUALIZED PLAN, took the front wheel and every other person became a partner in the education of my children. All these while I had a demanding 9-5 job.

From the 26th of August, I will be teaching 20 parents how to achieve same or even better results than I did about 10years ago and I'm still doing.
