Transforming Your Child Through Gratitude
Jan 26, 2023 9:53 am
Gratitude is a channel for endless teachable opportunities. Gratitude leaves you thankful , hopeful, and motivated. It tells you there is room to do more, however, I'm grateful for what I could do today.
Gratitude helps you see what's there instead of what isn't. Gratitude is a great way to teach children the following;
♦️ Appreciation: It helps children see the honor in the sacrifice their parents ans other people make for them , rather than focus on what their friends seem to have that they don't have.
♦️ Contentment : This comes with contentment. A daily journey of gratitude help your children appreciate various ways that they've been loved and shown care and kindness. I trip through their journal shows various ways they've been blessed and this wells up a heart of contentment .
♦️Empathy: It helps the child appreciate the humanity in us and others. They see your support, kindness and the efforts that you make , and are able to make excuses for you and others at times when you are unable to support them or be there .
♦️ Helps you raise a child with a high emotional quotient. You child becomes a warm and king person.

Dear parents "angels " and "monsters" are raised by parents who have good intentions for their children.
Whether your child turns out to be one or the other depends on how you parent them today.
