Parenting Reflection

Jul 31, 2024 7:14 am

Dear Parent,

Today is a good time to reflect on your parenting. Step back and take a look at the adult hour child is gradually becoming , because that's where you are headed - raising your child into an adult who can THRIVE on their own.

This is what regular reflection does for you and your parenting journey;

♦️ It helps see yourself and the role you play in the success of this part and other parts of your life and reminds you that parenting is about you.

♦️It helps you see your child, their milestones and efforts, or lack of them and how you can support them to be the best version of themselves.

♦️ It helps you evaluate your system - what's working , what's not, and what needs to be adjusted .

♦️ It leads to effectiveness, allows you to seek the gaps in points 1- 3 above, and allows you to go back to recalibrate.

♦️ It helps you focus on your family dynamics and the relationship between you , your spouse, and your children.

♦️It helps you avoid micromanaging your home, stops overwhelm, and leads to a stable home .

Here's my charge to you today, stop today and spend some time to reflect on the parent that you are and the one your child deserves.
