To go to school is one thing , to have an inert desire to improve yourself or go out of your way to get trained without being compelled to is a different ball game , and the later is something many people, even adults still struggle with.

I remember enrolling for a reading program  13 years ago just because I wanted to know how to teach our son (who was barely 2 years old at the time) how to read.

I was a school manager at the time and I paid as a private participant and I remember how many of my colleagues and even some friends couldn't understand why I'm paying extra money to learn something we have already paid school fees for a school to teach him .

If these are the thoughts of adult, you can only imagine what goes on in the mind of your preteens and teenagers when you bring up learning beyond school related things.Some get angry, trusted, dragged and will go to whatever length to frustrated your effort.

Others may just show up because they have no choice , but trust me , all you have is a physical body with a minds far from what they believe if your problem not yours

.
