The Result is in The Process

Getting children to talk about their learning (telling) is very vital as it gives you feedback on how much has been learned/internalized.
Interestingly, this exercise would also form the foundation for public speaking, assertiveness and other life skills.
That child may be shy, quiet, energetic, or have gaps in his/her socio-emotional skills, but you can flip all that by building foundational skills and helping them grow through a process.
When our son wouldn't go on stage and cried a lot when rejected by others, telling and affirmation were some of the first strategies we employed to support and empower him.
I learned quite early in my parenting journey to focus on the process and not the outcome.
I learnt that being a slave to grades /winning and the praise that follows isn't as empowering as we may think. However, taking them through a process that birth the winner within is the best gift you can give a child.
Focus less on the grades and winning and more on the process that leads to high grades and births champions and you'll see magic.
And that process?
For us it is a wholesome approach to education along our 8 signature lines;
📌Kingdom life
📌Habit training
📌Academic excellence
📌Leadership etc...
I shared them during the last PTM Conference, see the link at the end of this post to catch the replay.
In the last few years we've worked with parents, caregivers and trainers who want to SUPPORT children through 'The process' and boy, the testimonies give me 'a motives' every day.
Our Mentor Parent Support Program doesn't only help you work this PROCESS with each child as an individual, we get to take that journey with you and hold your hands through it.
Registration is open for Term 1. Session 2, so you can join the waiting list and be the first in class when we resume in August. See link in the comment section.
Remember you are the first and most important teacher in your child's life. Make it count .
