Staying disciplined and still enjoy yourself over the holiday season

Hey

The holiday season is one of the hardest times to stay consistent, and I want to give you a simple plan to help you stay on track without feeling restricted or guilty.

Discipline is not about being perfect. It’s about making a few intentional choices each day that keep you aligned with your goals.

Here are a few reminders to guide you through the next few weeks:

1. Keep your non-negotiables.

Even if your schedule changes, commit to the basics: water, protein with every meal, and at least one daily movement session (even a 20-minute walk counts). These alone can prevent setbacks.

2. Plan your indulgences — don’t fall into them.

Enjoy the meals, the desserts, and the celebrations, but choose them on purpose. Mindless eating is what derails people, not one planned treat.

3. Don’t miss two days in a row.

If you skip a workout or overeat at an event, fine. Just don’t let it turn into a streak. One off day is human. Two becomes a pattern.

4. Set a January goal now.

Having something to work toward after the holidays helps you stay grounded now. Whether it’s fat loss, strength, or consistency, choose one focus and keep it in the back of your mind.

Remember: the holidays are meant to be enjoyed, not feared. You can stay disciplined and still have fun — it all comes down to intentional choices.

You’ve got this.
