Awesome some Q&A action, I do have a couple of questions that I've been thinking about, mainly around the topic of resume projects to cover the lack of work experience. Thanks!
.What kinds of projects really demonstrate practical skills to employers? If you had to recommend two or three projects that show I’m job-ready for entry-level roles, what would they be?
.When building home lab projects, how can I focus on ones that actually connect to real-world problems instead of just doing endless exercises? For example, are projects like hardening Active Directory, writing detection rules, or learning a SIEM tool more valuable than doing CTFs or other one-off challenges?
.I’m also interested in cloud security, but I’m not sure if diving into it early will help or cause challenges in my cybersecurity journey. How can someone blend cloud security skills with cybersecurity without getting stretched too thin?
.And as a follow-up, what kinds of projects would you recommend for building that blend? For example, is it more valuable to create a lab that simulates securing cloud infrastructure, or to focus on monitoring and defending a hybrid environment that mixes on-prem and cloud?
