Hi Everyone

We are steadily working our way north to the tropical north of Queensland and for this week and next we are in the North Queensland town of Sarina which is about 30km south-west of Mackay.

Sugar cane is the main agriculture in the area and one of the attractions in town is the sugar mill. There are tours of both the mill and the sugar shed which give a history of the mill and area. I did these many years ago so haven't ventured there this time.

Beautiful beaches are nearby and Miss Gemma-Jean is quite the furry beach babe. She loves to run on the golden sand. This is crocodile country so we keep a very close eye on her.
