Closet Reset-The Secret to Loving your Wardrobe💕

I just wrapped up my annual closet purge and reorganization, and WOW—what a satisfying feeling! 🙂The photo says it all: a mountain of empty hangers and three large bags of clothing ready to donate to my favorite charity, Dress for Success, where I also volunteer as a stylist.

Doing this every year is like pressing a reset button for my wardrobe—it forces me to take stock of items I may have forgotten about, frees up valuable space, and gives me the warm fuzzies 😊 knowing my gently worn clothes are going to a cause close to my heart ❤️.

I also have a personal rule: I never buy more hangers. If I run out, it’s my cue to purge and free up space for the clothes I truly love 👗.

Pro Tip: after the purge, I hang all my “keepers” with the hangers facing backward. Each time I wear something, I return it to the closet with the hanger facing forward. Next year, any item still on a backward hanger hasn’t been worn in 12 months—which makes it easier to decide which items to purge.
