Happy New Year!
I hope this missive finds you well. I had a nice relaxing start to 2025. Whew! I'm starting to plan out my writing for the new year and I am excited about everything I have planned. Fingers crossed I can stick to the plan!
Here is what's coming in 2025:
- The Assassin's Guide to Falling in Love (The Ladies League, Book One) - New series start! (February 18, 2025)
- To LA, With Love - A Charity Anthology for the LA Fires (June 2025)
- Chasing The Lily (4 Lilies, Book One) - New series start! (Mid-2025)
- The Winter Rogue - New cover and re-release (October 2025)
- A Second Chance Christmas Romance Anthology - Kindling the Flame - (November 2025 Anthology)
Along the way there will be lots of free books from other authors and more than a few giveaways. :-) And of course I always look forward to hearing from you all!
A Word about the Los Angeles Fires
I want to take a moment to say a little about the fires in LA. First and foremost, I want to say a huge thank you to all of the men and women fighting the fires and trying to save people's homes and businesses. Second, living in San Diego, I know many people who have been impacted by the fires--either evacuated or under threat of evacuation. Thankfully, I do not personally know anyone who has lost their home. For anyone that may have been affected, you have my most heartfelt sympathy.
The Pacific Palisades and Altadena neighborhoods are the most impacted. As a result, the anthology is going to benefit the Los Angeles Public Library and the Altadena Library District. Please keep an eye out for pre-order links in the near future.
Meta (Facebook / Instagram)
So I want to take a moment to talk about Meta. First let me say, I am not abandoning Facebook or Instagram, but I do expect to be in both places a lot less in 2025. I cannot support I am going to be focusing on Bluesky and either TikTok (assuming it gets to stick around) or if not there another video based platform...maybe YouTube Shorts or Clapper (I have accounts on both)?
Why Bluesky? Well...because it feels like Twitter used to back in the beginning. I get to see the content I want to see from the people I choose to follow vs what Meta wants me to see. It feels more like a conversation with people I know than yelling into a void.
And Tiktok? Well, I like the video thing and that is where most people are at the moment. I guess we'll see how long that lasts. I hope to see you all over at one of those places.

New Release Coming February 18th
An assassin and her mark might find love amidst the turmoil of a technology war between steam and electricity if they can learn to trust each other...
Louisa Stanton, madame and assassin, has another assignment to eliminate an enemy of the Crown. Normally she does her duty without asking too many questions, but something about this assignment has her hesitating. And it’s not just the blue-grey gaze of the handsome lord she was sent to kill.
John Griffin, the Earl of Melton, can imagine more than one reason an assassin is standing in his house with a blade pressed to his neck. Too bad he has no intention of dying. Not even at the hands of the darkly sensual assassin sent to kill him.
When he convinces her to help him find who ordered his death, nothing about their alliance goes as planned. Not when his mother mistakes his would-be-killer for his fiancé, and not when they steam up the sheets. The question is, can they discover who is behind his kill order before everything falls apart in a tangle of secrets and lies?
