Greetings .
Yesterday, Tuesday 20th October, 2020 was recorded as BLACK TUESDAY in Nigeria.
A peaceful protest led by Nigerian youths at Lekki Toll gate in Lagos turned brutal.
These people were just exercising their rights for #ANewNigeria and they were brutally attacked by the military force *smh*
I have been crying my eyes out, *tears*
Shared my heartfelt thoughts HERE.
My prayer is that all this will NOT be in vain...no it shouldn't!
Due to the #EndSARS protest and the 24-hour curfew in several states, activities in Nigeria are currently on pause...
Schools have closed...
Businesses, especially brick-and-mortar ones have closed.
Though protesters are still out lending their voices and sadly hoodlums misbehaving *sigh*
It is advisable for everyone to stay in doors till further notice.
Prayer chains and advocacy are still on-going on social media.
You can join them to keep lending your own voice to the movement.
To stay updated, I recommend checking #EndSARS on Twitter.
Please continue to put Nigeria in your prayers, 🙏🏽
We really need it more than ever...
A New Nigeria is about to be born...✊🏾
Life is short. Live it to the fullest.
Till then...

Ajala Nene
