Do you work with clients that present with the issue of anger or rage?
An increasing number of health authorities do not offer provision for patients presenting with anger issues and suggest that individuals seek seek help privately. How do you support clients presenting with anger and rage?
Develop your skills and deepen your understanding about the differences between anger and rage and how to work with each. You will take away useful models to guide your practice and to share with your clients.
You will be armed with up to date neuroscience, positive outcomes in therapy and academic research findings which challenge the mainstream understanding of, and approach to rage issues.
Rage can be an issue for all of us, not just those who come to the attention of authorities or come to us as clients; participants have experienced helpful insights into their own anger and rage processes through this workshop.

YOUR FREE POEM FROM WILLIAM AYOT, ON ANGER
A TRUCE TOO SOON
I have no answer to the anger of women,
the resentment I see in a small, balled fist,
in a wire-taut smile, in a trembling chin.
I have no response to the hatred I see
that defers and defers and defers to the male
yet revenges itself upon innocent boys.
I have no reply to the old, cold loathing
that slithers behind my lover's eyes,
keeping me watchful and wakeful beside her.
No, I've no answer to the anger of women,
no answer beyond a slow understanding,
a terror, and the age-old rage of men.
