Hello fellow reader,
Happy Thanksgiving to all the American's out there! Happy Thursday to the non-American's out there....
This week in my family we have rediscover The Greatest Showman CD. An apt Thanksgiving movie and soundtrack, don't you agree? My head is spinning with lyrics such as "Every night I lie in bed, the brightest colors fill my head..." Over and over the lyrics spin... along with Hugh and Zack's beautiful faces. And suddenly stories that have nothing to do with the two books I need to finish are rushing through my brain. A distraction that is wreaking havoc on my concentration.
Only turkey and cranberry sauce will save me.
I still have to write my NaNoWriMo words today, though I'm not sure how I'll get those in. As I type this I'm remembering that I need to put the rolls into the actual oven because eating raw dough is NOT the same as eating a dinner roll. Yes, I left writing this newsletter to the very last minute. Yes. Because, well, that's how I roll.
ahem...rolling right along

On Sunday we will be watching Spain vs Germany which should be a nail-biting game since both teams are very good. Please send good vibes. My husband gets very depressed when his team loses. Although he does tend to express that depression in cleaning the house, so either way it's a win for me...
Which country do you support in the World Cup?
And then there is what you've been waiting for, right? Because what could be better after a plate of turkey and stuffing than a good book?
This week I'm swapping with three writers.
First up is a pre-order on a Christmas Romance, Christmas in the Glen:
When mysterious gift appears outside the kitchen door at Broch Invershin at the start of Yuletide, Dawn Fraser cannot pass it by without investigating. It is then followed by a string of gifts, all for Dawn, and gifted by someone who knows all her preferences.
The giver must be someone who knows her well. Could it be the rakish and handsome Drummond? They had been sharing glances and secret kisses. Might he be Dawn’s admirer?
Next we have a clean Fantasy, Infernal Fall:
There is only one way out of Hell.
Daniel Strong is a troubled young man with only one bright spot in his life—his girlfriend, Kristine. He hopes to propose to her on a hike in the mountains, but a mysterious artifact in a dark cavern ruins his plan. Things quickly go downhill—literally—as handling the ‘keystone’ causes Daniel to fall straight into Hell, leaving Kristine behind.
A soul-harvesting demon tells him the only way out is through, that he must go to Satan and bargain for his freedom. But the shadow-man responsible for leaving the keystone behind tries to show him there’s another way out. Against his better judgment, Daniel finds himself listening to the demon’s claims that appealing to the Master of the Underworld himself is his only choice.
As the unlikely group traverses the many levels of Hell, hurt, anger, and fear hound Daniel, reminding him how hopeless his efforts truly are. All Daniel can do is push forward in hopes of making it back to Kristine. Will Daniel heed Kristine’s words to choose life? Or will he succumb to the lies pulling him down with every step?
Infernal Fall is a modern twist on the classic tale: Dante’s Inferno. If you're a fan of Ted Dekker and Frank Peretti, you will love Infernal Fall. Grab your copy today and embark on a harrowing tale of light vs darkness and discover if there truly is only one way out of Hell.
Then we have a historical dystopian, The Nightmare Kingdom:
Sofie Gresbeck wants what any German girl of the 16th century wants, to find love and raise a large family. She never dreamed she would have to prevent the Second Coming of Christ.
In 1534, the heart of the Protestant Reformation, the Prophet leads a revolution in Sofie’s hometown of Münster. Proclaiming his power to turn stone to bread, he transforms Münster into the New Jerusalem to prepare the way for Christ’s return. The people of Münster, Sofie included, must take up the sword and exterminate the ungodly before the nightfall of the world brings time to an end.
When forced marriage of God’s Elect becomes the law, Sofie must choose between the man she loves and a lifetime with one of the Prophet’s lackeys, whom she loathes. But if she chooses love, Sofie forfeits her ability to protect her younger sister Hilde when Hilde unwillingly becomes one of the Prophet’s fifteen wives.
At the same time, the Holy Roman Emperor’s army besieges Münster, ordered to annihilate the city for its rebellion. When the Fire of the Lord promised by the Prophet fails to rain from the sky, Sofie realizes that saving her family requires saving the city of Münster, too.

Let me know what you're reading this weekend! I just finished two books and need a few new ones to add to my list!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! And Happy Reading!
