Don't throw out the computer! And other life problems

Dear un surprise to share with you...

What a strange week I'm having. As I type this, nothing is showing up. I have to highlight th text and click on black ink after every line. I have no idea why. I'm still having trouble getting Coffee Stains into print on any place other than Amazon, because there is some sort of glitch with Ingram Spark. But honestly, at least the print is on Amazon because just getting the formatting correct took about four hours! I'm not kidding! And then the software broke down and stopped working on me!

It's days like these, (there goes the invisible ink again) that I fantasize about throwing out the computer. It would be simpler to live without a computer, without software that doesn't work.

Except that then I couldn't be able to tell you about a new contest that Coffee Stains was accepted into (nice segue, huh? Gotta pat myself on the back for that one)! Without computers we wouldn't have ebooks!

And ebooks are a large part of my life as an indie writer.

As I was saying. there is a mega giveaway happening with 30+ fantastic Literary, Historical & Women’s Fiction novels. A copy of EACH of these novels will go to 2 winners!

Oh, and the Grand Prize winner gets a BRAND NEW eReader! 😁

Other than continuing to write short stories and work on the next novel, I don't have much new to tell. I finished reading the thriller (very interesting) and am almost done with Olive Kitteridge, which I'm quite enjoying even though I didn't think I would. Just goes to show that you can't really judge a book by the cover or even the back copy sometimes!

Let me know what you're reading! I still haven't found my copy of A Gentleman in Moscow, which makes me quite sad. I hear it's a very good book.

Until next time!

Kat
