on my toes with Harlan Coben and other things

Dear reader,

Maybe we should start a NaNoReadMo? "National Novel Reading Month. I think that would be a little more enjoyable. Perhaps then I would make time to read all the books I've been wanting to read lately!

I have to admit I'm still reading The Alchemist. I tend to go to bed so tired already that after a few pages I have to put it down and go to sleep. I did, however, listen to Hold Tight by Harlan Coben while driving back and forth to my grandmother's in Texas this past weekend.

Have any of you watched any of Coben's books as Netflix miniseries? He sold 14 books to Netflix and they are making them into miniseries, which I love because sometimes I just don't feel like watching a 2 hours movie PLUS they are making them originally in different languages. You know me and languages and I LOVE this! I have already seen SAFE on Netflix and both of the Richard Armitage mini-series, The Stranger and Stay Close. I mean, come on! Richard Armitage? Yes, please! I've been in love with him since North and South.

Anyway, I hadn't read one so I found one on Chirpbooks and have to say it stuck close to Harlan's MO. And it didn't disappoint.

Although now I think I need a break from suspense!

Despite traveling, I've kept up with my NaNoWriMo writin. I'm not sure I'll make it to 50,000 words just on Crossing Zamora, but I'm trying to stick to writing a little bit everyday. I like challenging myself and I feel like if I got through the weekend traveling and was able to do it, then I can finish out the whole month.

Even writing 500 words a day will eventually make a novel, right?
