To have no boundaries is like letting invasive vines strangle your garden...

Sometimes animals need fencing
Sometimes animals need to be let off leash
Just as we can benefit via a balance within:
- lose structure
- gently held rules and systems
The thing with boundaries is...
If we have 0 boundaries, we lose ourselves, we lose our balance. We become chaotic and reactionary. But to have too strict of a structure is to close ourselves off from creativity and spontaneity, which is key to truly living, rather than merely existing...
So we need to create a dynamic balance.
To allow for our observing of our thoughts and emotions to guide us.
If we are too mechanical, too rule based, too structured we won't let our light shine.
How to create a dynamic balance between structure and spontaneity:
- filter the most important pillars of your life
- add sub-pillars to your main pillars
- use these pillars as a lose structure
- everyday email yourself ideas and filter them into the pillars at end of each week
This will simplify your life. It adds some structure without making your schedule forced and routine.
Now if you'd like to create personal boundaries, in relationships...
You have to notice:
- patterns that don't align with you
- personal tendencies that are corrupting
- spirals and consistencies that are worthwhile to inquire into
Remember - you can't control anyone. You can't even control your own thoughts and emotions, rather you can learn via watching, listening and observing.
Less personal attachment. More impersonal observation and awareness.
P.S. Do you resonate with this work? Are you sincere about the every-day quality of your mind and life?
