The main issue with mental confusion

Nov 16, 2023 2:00 pm

Hey champions - appreciate you investing in yourself by reading this - sincerely.

Here's last weeks podcast episode incase you missed it.

Now - What is mental confusion?

-a lack of clarity

-regret caused by poor decisions

-overthinking and the pain of anxiety

What is the opposite of this?

-knowing when to do what

-feeling strong as you did what you must

-the freedom of being aligned with your core values

We all know mental confusion hurts. It attracts more pain.

A confused mind makes shit decisions. Those decisions snowball into hell.

You can feel clear - strong - confident in the choices you make.

You need clarity for these benefits though.

It all begins with understanding what is most valuable to you.

There WILL be tradeoffs in what you choose to prioritize.

But - ultimately all that matters is your priorities are aligned with your values.

DON'T confuse others values for your values.

If you are not clear on your values:

-look at your natural interest

-look at the pain in your life

-get to the root causes of your pain

-align your values with the solutions to the root of your pain

FOR INSTANCE...

My dad abused alcohol and pharmaceuticals and many other hard drugs.

My dad is alive. My dad has not spoken a word to any of his children in years.

I see my dad often. He lives at my grandmas whom I visit frequently.

My pain is that he was not what I envisioned a father being.

Now - my whole life has been built from this TRUTH.

I'm determined to become the man who I wish was my father.

TURN YOUR PAIN INTO PURPOSE.

P.S.

Listen, you can become:

-powerfully confident

-physically attractive and admirably

-mentally capable of handling any stress
