If you don't respect yourself, then it might be due to a terrible disconnection deep within...
TWO TRAPS TO AVOID:
1/ Lack of mental clarity
2/ Lack of digital organization
The clarity thread :
---
1/ Create your weekly planner
It can be physical.
It can be digital.
You don't need to list ALL actions.
Write down the things you struggle to get done.
---
The weekly planner can have space for future ideas.
It can have a spot for reminders.
The planner is a mental filter.
An organized mind works better.
---
2/ Use obsidian
It's a digital database.
Start creating:
-Folders with your big topics
-Dial down each big topic to a yearly time frame
-Then quarterly
-Then monthly if needed
---
A lack of digital organization lowers productivity.
We all have 24 hour days.
You get wealthy by making the most out of your days.
Optimize for efficiency and productivity via organization.
---
3/ Transferring of ideas
You get a thought.
-You text yourself as a reminder
-Or you take notes in an app / journal
But those ideas can get forgotten and lost...
So...
---
You want to transfer ideas from the initial source to the weekly planner.
This makes it so:
-you are writing it down multiple times
-which enhances the power of the idea
-and now it's visible on your planner
Organization is priceless...
---
4/ Morning & PM routines
You never want to go to bed stressed.
I've done this too many times before.
The quality of your sleep really adds up.
It's worthwhile to craft smooth routines.
---
What works for me:
AM:
-wake & immediately shower
-start coffee & go meditate for 25M
-after coffee either hit gym or write or answer DMS
Mid morning:
-toss in a walk
-toss in another meditation
And for PM...
----
PM:
-have a work cut off time
-make sure to actually respect it
ACTIONS:
-clean a bit
-make some tea
-take a nice shower
-quick meditation before bed
