Hey - so the shortcut is to not live so zoomed in
Meaning that you use your awareness to notice when your ego is arising
Ego arising feels like:
-weight on your heart
-clouds over your head
-tension within your gut/neck/pelvis
I'm not saying always and never with those symptoms.
Don't jump at me. hahahahaha. (you can later)
To use awareness one must be courageous in allowing for the movements of the self (insert your name) to be felt and listened to.
As you can only learn about the structure of the game we are all within by creating psychological space via the vehicle of noticing and that noticing is employing awareness.
Don't believe me please. You don't need to even think about this. Just listen and notice your own reactionary thinking. Thought is not good nor bad, no need to judge the noticing of thought.
It's a win to notice thought, and to notice the judgement of thought, there's just no step-by-step system for this work but you can only see when you do it.
Can't be rooted in a force, or a desire, but more clearly seeing that you cannot continue walking the road that you have been walking.
Right, sometimes ya get what you need, not what you desire.
Like lets look at something that feels heavy.
I'm talking about Hitler and his life.
I see clearly that the world invited that upon itself.
When we live in a certain way, we attract.
It's almost as if when we go to a extreme the universe creates disaster to wake people up a bit.
Maybe we can do the work now, in this moment.
Living wisely is almost as if preventing sickness before it occurs. Maybe that's exactly it. Or one example.
