human psychology - do you know yourself deeply?

Understanding yourself -
How this helps you know others
To know yourself you must indulge in self education.
This is what worked for me, I'm sure there are plenty of others routes.
When you choose to learn you create an opportunity to replace old software with new, smoother running systems.
Systems that have less errors.
Many humans are currently running on old low quality programs...
It's time we re-wire and choose to aim up in our lives, fulfilling our highest potentials.
Your desire
Before diving into self education there must be a desire to grow and learn.
That's where the idea of potential comes in, you know deep down that you're capable of so much.
There's one side of us that feels that way.
While another side is a filled with fear and self doubt, too many of us let this weaker self decide what actions we take.
It's a game. If you listen to the weaker self, you will be comfortable for a bit, eventually that comfort will turn into a life of quiet misery.
Why? Human nature is to adventure and build, to use our minds, to challenge preconceived ideas.
If we go against our truest nature, and turn into fragile, weak-minded consumers who are addicted to comfort our mind becomes our own personal prison...
Now there are universal truths that when understood will be so helpful.
Ways of thinking such as: Cause and Effect, What you put out you receive, Opportunity is hidden within 'failure', Where you place your attention links to how you'll feel and so on.
The studying of deeper truths and wise old teachers is one of the most valuable paths you can travel down for yourself.
You don't have to reinvent the wheel.
Take what's worked for 1,000s of years and add your modern, personal and unique spin to it!
You hold the power
I have no interest trying to convince people to educate themselves, not down my alley...
What intrigues me is helping those who already have the desire. To understand yourself first accept that you're not alone.
There are other beings out here who feel very similar and who can relate to you, even though you may feel alone right now.
That should be a breath of fresh air.
You have this abundant amount of wisdom available through the internet, it's your job to find the teachers that resonate with you.
Some of my favorite teachers are: Wayne Dyer, Ram Dass, Wes Watson, Jordan Peterson, Hormozi, Actualized.org, Buddhism, Hinduism and Christianity.
All these teachers are on a spectrum.
Each one has it's place for a certain period in your life.
Maybe I resonate with you, I'm honored to be a teacher.
What I'm getting at is that you can't force people to want something.
Desire is something that must occur naturally.
For most people, they don't see the value in self education, they think that learning ends after getting their degree...
That's so far from the TRUTH.
Life is meant to be a constant adventure of education and new experience. If you're not learning and iterating on what you learn you're moving backwards, now why do that?
It's important to focus on following natural interest when choosing what you learn about.
Start anywhere, starting it better than procrastinating.
Then after beginning be sure to question yourself, and do me a favor, adopt a journaling habit...
If I had done this sooner it would have helped me so much.
Start with 1m a day and build from there.
Do it everyday.

Cause and Effect is a crucial universal law.
A simple example, you eat a low quality source of fuel like Wendy's, then the effect is your body has low energy due to shit fuel.
Anther example, you focus your attention on things you can't control, like a new potential war happening, the effect is you feel a negative frequency feeling like fear.
You're placing your focus on that which you have no control over and that spurs feelings of helplessness.
I could give many examples.
One more.
Cause: You don't take care of your body and mind.
Effect: Your thinking turns very negative because you know internally how much better you could be...
Of course we can go deeper, what's the cause behind you not taking care of your emotion, mental and physical wellbeing?
If you want to get to the solution you must dive deeper into this unraveling process to find the root causes.
Nobody can do this work for you.
Even if you pay someone, what they'll be doing is guiding you, the work is done by you.
I'm a huge fan of investing in yourself, with both free and paid content.
That's what you're doing right now by reading this.
What's the effect of you taking the time to educate yourself?
Well, you may learn a new practical trick that eases your life, a psychological tip which reduces your stress and you feel better about yourself knowing you're doing a good thing.
Everything that you do matters.
It's all connected.
You may think that doing a half ass job is fine, but that's lacking the awareness that your attitude spans wide and far.
How you do one thing is how you do it all.
Magics in the details
The emotional aspect of life can be one of the most confusing things to navigate.
We can have many different causes for feeling the way we do.
Sometimes we are feeling anger because we're sad and hurt, but it's common to overlook that sadness and not understand why you're angry...
That comes from a lack of awareness.
Raising your awareness is not something I hear talked about too often, yet it's one of the most crucial things a being can do for their life.
First we have to educate ourselves on the ideas of denial and self deception.
Our minds are tricky beast.
We are constantly telling ourselves a story, that's what most of your thinking is.
See, what you think to be true is not always true.
What's TRUE is what actually happens in front of your two eyes, not the stories your mind creates...
Those aren't the real reality.
Unfortunately we are not taught how to manage the thinking of our mind.
So that thing just runs absolutely wild and overthinks whatever the situation may be.
The big difference I see is when we're younger (0-10) the thinking is more so imagination, it's usually happy and positive...
Stress free.
Once I began to start worrying about what others thought of me around age 10+, my overthinking turned into this worrying that others were judging me, all I desired was to fit in...
Of course this will be different if you had a rough childhood, I'm just unraveling my personal experience here.
Hopefully most of you had at least an OK childhood.
If I could ask you a favor...
If you're struggling to understand yourself and why you feel how you do, begin journaling.
Either with a notebook or obsidian on PC. Start small, 1m a day and build.
If you journal daily over a span of months I bet you come back to me with amazing insights.
Let me know how it goes.
You must create...
What makes life amazing is having great connections with wonderful beings.
The materialistic stuff is a good time, but it's not what builds a fulfilling life experience.
And to have great connections we must understand ourselves.
We want to be well rounded, being proficient in a range of intelligences... Emotional, Aesthetic, Moral, Practical, Spiritual, Cognitive and so on.
Self education is the direct route to freedom from the confines of your mind. When you learn about who you are you begin to know yourself on a much deeper level.
This allows for you to relate to others on a much deeper level...
Very wise right? lol.
The depth of your interpersonal connections matters.
When you're healthy mentally and physically, you do work you love, life starts becoming a fun game...
Just as it was when we were young and free from the expectations of societies programming.
That line right there hits deep for me.
I was totally programmed, as most of us are.
Part of me always knew I didn't want to go the common route and work a cubicle job, that's all I knew.
Not a clue what I was going to actually do.
Eventually, it was so hard, but my life led to me doing what I'm doing now.
Many moments of confusion and feelings of aimlessness.
If you feel that way my friend know that you're not alone and that if you don't give up life will become clearer and better.
What I want to leave you with is this idea...
Get clear on what's most important to you, and what you don't want to be doing.
Start subtracting all that you don't want it your life.
Beliefs, habits, addictions, mental models, people ETC.
Subtract slowly, you want this shift to be sustainable.
Now begin educating yourself and relacing all that you subtract with healthier replacements.
Remember: nobody can do the work for you.
P.S. I built this so you could change your life without spending $1000s
Test this!
When you're identifying what your priorities are and what you don't want, this can be overwhelming.
I want to remind you that good things take time and you DON'T need to be rushing, applying extra pressure to yourself doesn't help you...
What are your main distractions and how are they harming you?
What're a few heathier actions you can replace those distractions with?
This is a process.
You need to hold a long-term perspective with all that I'm telling you.
Life is not about where you end up but learning how to enjoy each moment on the journey that you're taking.
Let's go!
Take the time to learn about human psychology.
If you can solve your own problems others will pay you big bucks to help you solve theirs.
What's a route you could take where you could earning money while doing something you enjoy?
Ponder that one.
What don't you want to do for an income?
