Deciphering the suffocating pressure of desire:

So much of our life is escaping pain and chasing wants...

Now desire or pain itself, it's not good nor bad. It is as it is.

But what happens quickly is...

-desire runs our thoughts

-desire takes over our emotions

-we become quite reactive, almost animalistic

-then we create problems that we could have avoided

That is not the way to be truly alive, abundant and in alignment...

Rather, we can watch our desire, learn about how it works, let it teach us about the nature of what we are and how the self, the 'me', the 'I', really works.

Because that's how you truly make this life worth living.

You deeply inquire into what you are:

-not a human doing

-not a human having

-but you are a HUMAN BEING

So what do human beings have?

We have STATES OF BEING.

(moods - energy - vibrational contagious frequency)

You can feel other beings.

You can feel when another human being is staring at you.

Have you ever locked eyes with another randomly?

How does that process actually unfold? We can look at it. We can learn about what we are.

To have the willingness to look at your own desire implies that you are serious in this life, as pain and desire as two sides of the same coin, and those aspects pretty much dominate 99% of our lives. So isn't it worthwhile to truly learn about how pain and desire work?

Less reactionary chasing of desire and more genuine fascination directed into learning about what we are at the root.

You can't force yourself to stop desiring something, but you can see how that desire itself can be destructive and then be choicelessly guided to a more aligned way of being.
