Energy draining addictions
Certain choices we make reward us with new, fresh energy.
These are decisions like reading, meditating and walking, things that fuel you with positive ambition.
Taking the time to identify what actions bring you new energy will be something you won't regret.
You'll benefit from clarifying the actions that drain you of energy too.
Many subtle addictions.
Checking the phone drains your energy.
Thinking negatively drains your energy.
Stressing drains your energy.
Doom scrolling.
Porn.
Complaining.
Having a dirty house.
Eating poorly.
Arguing.
There are so many 'small' things we overlook each day that change our energy levels, it's so valuable to do a detailed check up on how you invest energy.
Odds are you could be investing it better.
Understand that what you put in you get out.
You want to consume the highest quality food and information possible, start with educating yourself on these topics.
That's what you're doing by reading this, good job.
Assignment:
grab a paper or create a new file.
write down the things you know you do that slow you down.
write down the habits you have that drain your energy.
write down some feelings you would enjoy having each day.
replace the poor actions with actions that will create the feelings you desire to have.
replace one poor action at a time, until you have no more low quality addictions.
