The Complex Balance

Humans have so much in common.

The psychology and physiology of human nature.

Our need for connection.

The fact that we're emotional and irrational at times.

The necessary balance between predictability and unpredictability.

But that being said we all have specific natural talents and curiosities.

And you know you're a unique, 1-1 individual, so where do those parallels meet?

Psychological And Physiological Systems

We all have similar wiring of our internal psychological mechanisms, but throughout our life experience we can actually re-wire this structure.

Same goes for our physical body, how we use it each day effects what it becomes.

So most of us have a similar starting hand, this is a commonality.

We can relate to others when it comes to things like being sore, or feeling great after an intense workout, that's human nature.

When someone shows body language that's negative,

most humans register that easily and can feel that other individuals energy.

But then you have your individual state of being, the state that you create through your everyday actions, thoughts, and energy levels.

As time passes you will become more and more separate, as you grow you become more of a special, unique individual.

The more separate you become the larger the need for human connection.

Connection is Life

Humans are like animals, we need family, collaboration, feedback, and the opportunity to play.

"A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty." ~ Albert Einstein

Without connection bad things tend to happen.

We may feel lonely in seasons of life,

when this happened to me it was partially due to a lack of human connection, I was not connecting with enough like-minded people.

The goal of connection is to learn, to see a situation from a new lens,

to share ideas, to enjoy quality time, to have fun, good human connection is the foundation to a great experience.

You bring your qualities to the table and some are different than others while some you both share,

this allows for powerful development as each of you have an opportunity to learn from connecting.

We're separate, yet very much the same.

Emotions And Personality

It's interesting how many variables there are to our separateness and commonalities.

When we think about emotions this is a huge topic, we share many aspects while differing in many aspects.

We all have the big 5 personality traits:

-Openness

-Conscientiousness

-Extroversion

-Agreeableness

-Neuroticism

And we all differ in the percentiles of these traits, each individuals personality will be different.

Yet, 99% of humans will feel the same when someone is blatantly rude to you, we feel offended and annoyed.

But here's where the separateness comes back,

each individual will choose to express their feelings of annoyance differently.

Predictability And Unpredictability

You don't want too much chaos or too much order, these must be gently balanced. If we sway in either direction too far situations get very rough and it's destructive to society.

Humans inherently need structure, we are creatures of habit,

but too have no unpredictability will create a boring and meaningless existence. We need a bit of mystery to keep us going.

Everything in life is about balance. Balance is not simply symmetrical, there will be ebbs and flows in your effort to balance life.

Sometimes you'll be in a season of prioritizing business and physical health.

Other times you'll be focusing on relationships, and spiritual development, life occurs in stages.

There are some non negotiables that you'll have to maintain throughout the journey,

your state of being must have a peaceful baseline to operate from.

How you reach this peaceful state of mind will be unique to you, but I can guarantee having a bit of structure will help.

By 'structure' I mean a few healthy habits that keep you grounded throughout the potentially chaotic day.

Combining the uniqueness with the commonalities

Every individual has something special that they're meant to share with the rest of humanity,

it's usually intertwined with how you healed your pain.

We all go through inevitable challenge, and your personal experience likely has a great learning lesson tied to it.

There is somebody who could benefit by you sharing how you overcame a certain situation.

They won't come running to you though, it's our responsibility to build the skills that are needed to get our message out there.

My point comes down to you the individual deciding to use your energy on a meaningful mission that involves helping others in some way.

Think abstractly, this could be helping in an indirect way, what matters is that you've tied your natural gifts and talents to this work.

The commonality is the fact that humans will always be able to help other humans, and YOU are the uniqueness, figure out how to serve others best!

If you want help developing your skills, building your vision, and learning how to execute on a daily basis,

Action

We can do all the education and studying, but without physical execution that means nothing. Action and education must be paired.

Every choice you make matters, it’s the ‘small’ choices that end up becoming most of your life.

It’s okay to study and learn, but you’ll never be perfectly ready, so it’s important to step into the unknown after a bit of education.

If you listed the daily actions that would push you forward, what would those be?

How does the person you’re aiming to become act?

How does this person treat other people?

Write 1/2+ page for each.

(only if you want to get ahead)

The Bottom line

So we all have a choice, to live a life full of meaning and be passionate for each new day...

Or to be a bit miserable due to the conscious knowing you're not living up to your potential,

and to be haunted by this voice anytime you're not distracting yourself.

I choose to help you develop that life full of meaning and passion.

Nothing makes me feel more aligned with my vision then creating content that's focused on teaching others how I healed my pain points.

Ask yourself:

-What does the person I admire do on a daily basis?

-What do I need to change in my life to be more aligned with my vision?

If you really want the most progress write a full page on both these questions.
