She Said "I Don't Trust You"

And a trick that'll set you free
Once you loose someone's trust
It can feel almost impossible to get it back
But who said you need to get it back
Maybe you're not meant to be with that individual
And maybe you're meant to feel the pain..
Knowing you did someone wrong
Letting that crack open your heart
Asking god how to forgive yourself
It starts with your inward openness
Problem is so many humans live small
So they judge, blame, do anything to shed responsibility
But... The stronger types will be real with themselves
They'll admit when they did wrong
They're not so weak that they act perfect
They're not so scared to admit the Truth
See, these are the people who you can trust
But you can't trust another until you trust you
This means you better tear apart your identity
A lot of us create images of ourselves
Then act from those conclusions
Without ever deeply tearing apart the roots
See, god will show you when you're around trustworthy people
And it only takes one moment of being dark to see that isn't it
If you need to trust someone
Make sure you can trust yourself first
There's much you cannot control
And you're inviting weakness by depending on what you can't control
The essence of religion is to trust god
To do this, you have to learn
To see that your mind may deceive itself
The mind thinks it's smarter than god
The Truth is, religion has nothing to do with thought
Not a thing to do with the mind
