getting more done with less effort. The core principles to creating your ideal future?

Aug 10, 2023 1:56 pm

Am I doing the right things?

It's something I've came across often in my life, questioning if what I'm doing is worthwhile.

If you want to get clear on your path and generate a strong knowing that you are doing what's most effective, this is for you.

And if you feel you are doing the right things, but you could be doing them in a more effective manner this will also be valuable.

----

How to become what you admire?

How do I know if what I'm investing my time and energy in is worthwhile?

Good question.

It's founded upon listening to both your thoughts and your feelings.

But, many people are clouded in a way which they don't know how to listen to the signs they are receiving.

If you don't listen, you won't have the right questions to ask yourself.

Your foundation to all this is built upon clarity.

I have found clarity in my life mainly from deleting that which drains my clarity.

So now, if you want your best self and your best life you have to get brutally honest about your lifestyle and the things you participate in each day.

Is what you do pulling you toward the version of yourself which you can Truly admire and respect? Well, take a look at people whom have earned your respect and figure out a bit about how they live.

What don't they do?

What do they do?

Millions of successful people express themselves online each day, you would be foolish to not pay attention to what they explain.

That said, it's your job to filter out the nonsense and find what's actually applicable and valuable.

----

Getting more done with less

Let's say you have a bit of an idea about what you should and shouldn't be doing.

Although your not exactly sure in what way you could improve your day to day experience.

See your habits are created from the moment to moment micro decisions and your life comes from your habits.

The question is, how do you make better decisions on a moment to moment basis.

This comes down to your ability to observe.

To recognize how certain thought patterns leave you feeling and how your energy leaves others feeling.

Practically you begin to realize these feelings through simplification.

You can become whatever you want, but you can't be everything.

You have to understand when you say yes to something, there is always something else you are saying no to.

For example, you can party all you'd like, this is your choice, but if you party every night you are saying no to sleep quality.

And when you say no to one of the most fundamental things that link to clarity, you are essentially asking for a harder day and harder life.

----

Balancing success and play

I want to dive into the art of simplification, how do you create entertaining lives which are founded upon simplicity?

Because I know it's not exactly fun to be bored and stale, yet it's not fulfilling to be imbalanced and spread too thin.

What I've found is valuable is to understand there are foundational keys to your life feeling amazing.

Your physical health, your financial position, your psychological connections with others, the quality of your mind, all of this is linked.

So you want to grasp the importance of building up those areas properly.

You want to balance growth in all of these core areas.

If I put it simply, what are your priorities?

If you prioritize building your foundation, then you will get more done with less.

There is a difference between building and maintaining, and you can't maintain what is not built. Point being that you must start creating your foundation before the wave of responsibilities swallows you.

If you build your foundation then inevitably you will be ready for more responsibility.

Many people don't build powerful foundations, yet they take on massive responsibility and then they live a quiet life of despair, a life filled with chronic stress.

I don't want this to happen to you.

----

Incremental improvements through time

If there's a feeling inside that you are on the path, your foundation is strong, but you could still be more effective this will be useful.

I changed up my entire lifestyle to become more effective.

Now you don't have to do this all at once.

I realized my mind works best in the morning and I tend to slack off and do things that are not helpful late at night.

So I changed my schedule to wake up extra early and take advantage of when my mind works best and singe I go to bed early I drastically reduced the odds that I do things I know I shouldn't.

See it's not rocket science, but are you willing to make the changes that promote your best self?

I can guarantee you there will be internal and external resistance.

So, is your best self a top priority?

Because if not you will come up with excuses not to change.

And this is exactly where the average joe gets stuck, they want to change but they never cut through their own self-deception and they remain in their comfort zone.

The uncertainty and challenges that come with aiming at your best self is surely something you will have to persist through.

But what would you rather do, suffer certainly or potentially break into a life that you Truly love?

----

Your path to freedom is meant to be tough

I feel this all links into knowing how to expand upon your comfort zone.

Recognizing ok, well I'm not exactly whom I'd like to be right now.

See, there's nothing wrong with you being who and where you are at this moment.

What's wrong is staying where you are.

The only constant in life is change.

If you are not changing you are not progressing.

When I use the word change, I'm talking in terms of very subtle nuance.

You don't have to be wildly changing, you simply have to be making incremental adjustments over an extended period of time.

To get more done with less you need to have a deep internal BURN for improving paired with clarity on what you need to do each day.

With those two things growth is inevitable.

To create your BURN, turn your pain into your purpose.

Not in a grudging manner, but in the lens which you don't want to push that pain upon others.

If you don't heal your pain, you will end up making others feel it.

And I've covered how you can create clarity, but my final piece would be to focus on deleting things before adding.

The simpler your life gets the higher the likelihood of True freedom.

If you want to accelerate the healing of your pain, in other words your anxiety, I have an offer at the end.

----

So you can do a exercise now, where you get clear on your pain.

This is so fundamental to your success.

Humans are going through a meaning crisis and this small shift can help create purpose and with a fiery reason you can Truly do anything.

What in your life breaks your heart?

(personally I never had the father I wished I had, so now I choose to become that man whom I would have loved to have)

There are two options you have with pain.

Either you let it weaken you and create excuses or you turn it into the most powerful fuel out there. Now, don't get caught in living in your pain, be grateful for it giving you purpose.

----

To get more done with less you have a powerful reason for living, for becoming your most. Nobody can save you except for you.

What is something you can begin subtracting from your life right now?

What is something healthier you can replace that thing with?
