How to use the darkness of fear to see through anxiety:
Now we are speaking on fear, but this will be applicable to other egotistical feelings.
When one has the thought, which may lead to another thought, which may then lead to a feeling, that's how one has fear.
There cannot be fear without first there being a thought, and a judgment (usually an unconscious judgment) of that thought.
So what's the root here? No thought = no fear.
But we, as human beings, must think, right?
So. How do we live a life where thoughts don't lead us down into the valley of fear?
We must SEE the nature of thought, how it arises, how it has a domino effect into feeling. How there cannot be any suffering without thought/feeling.
This all implies that we have psychological space, which allows for sensitivity, and that sensitivity is so alive that it can SEE the nature of thought/feeling.
What does one do to create this psychological space which invites sensitivity?
1,000s of variables. There will never be a step-by-step guide for this work.
It's too profound for such a framework to be applicable.
But... I'll hint at over-stimulation and over-consumption.
There can never be psychological space if we are always distracting ourselves.
There can never be this space when we are too clogged to invite sensitivity.
