If you want to become more efficient and effective, read this :
Being orderly can be extremely valuable to your life in general.
Unlocking:
-accomplishing more with less effort
-allowing you to do more fun things
When you need something and you know exactly where it is, it's beautiful.
How do we become more orderly and organized?
Subtract before adding.
We have to admit that there are things we don't need.
If you don't admit this, then no progress will occur.
The Truth is many humans attach emotions to objects, things that don't have emotions themselves.
This is how people become hoarders...
I'm not saying you can't have emotional appreciation for things.
I'm saying it needs to be in a balanced manner.
To practically become more efficient:
-use many digital folders
-declutter your physical areas
Digitally you can start with a broad pillar such as real estate, then a broad time frame like 2023, then a sub category like apartment complexes then filter into Q1 for example, within Q1 filter into a individual month.
The more precise you get with your labels and categories in life the quicker you can find what you need when you need it.
See, precise organization allows for better decision making and we are constantly making differentiations so simplifying this process is super effective.
If your priority is to create a life you enjoy, you will benefit by doing yourself this favor.
Remember the hard things are usually worthwhile and the easy things quite the opposite. I know organizing isn't exactly simple...
That said, as you go you will begin to appreciate the process.
