E-A-T and why those three letters are everything in SEO

Hi ,

I've been working in SEO for almost a decade now and one thing that is constant? Google talking about E-A-T. But what does that even mean?

E-A-T stands for Expertise, Authority, and Trust. And now there's another one to consider, Experience.

These are the components of ranking that matter to Google. They want your site, the links coming to your site, and all other SEO signals to follow these guidelines.

This means that anything that proves you are an expert, proves your business/site can be trusted, and proves that you are an authority, will help you rank better.

Reviews prove you can be trusted and show Google all three factors. The content on your site establishes all these factors, and if you have good sites linking to you, this will help you rank higher.

The newest addition, "experience," seems to be there to differentiate real quality content, from AI generated content. It's about sharing our experiences from actually shooting photos. The type of stuff that AI can't actually share!

The reason I'm explaining all of this is so you can think from a new angle as you do work on your SEO. This way of thinking will help you do REAL quality work as opposed to taking on random and often meaningless tactics that you've heard about online. Quality work lasts in the long run!

That's it for today, I'll be back with more next week.
