One of the first questions I'm asked by most people when I tell them I do SEO? "Is AI going to replace SEO?"...

I've had some time to think about this now and stand firmly that it's highly unlikely that AI will take over SEO. Too many of the approaches and methods are largely intuitive, and Google is getting smarter by the day with how they decide whether content is "quality" or not.

That being said, I see it as a valuable tool we can use to generate the basis for out content and guide us in what we build on our blogs/pages.

I posted my thoughts here, and I also asked ChatGPT to write half the article to see what it thinks. Pretty interesting stuff.
