The difference between faith and fear
Feb 13, 2026 3:47 pm
Good morning, ,
Faith and fear are topics that have been on my mind a lot lately.
Faith is believing in something you can't see that you hope is true
Fear is believing in something you can't see that you hope isn't true.
So, why do we trust more in our fears than in our faith? Does that even make sense?
I think there are a lot of reasons for it, including our built-in negativity bias (we're wired to perceive threats and danger, for example) but trusting more in something you don't want than in what you do want isn't very produtive. And if that's the primary difference between faith and fear, what's the risk of going after the things we want?
Aside from maybe being wrong?
For today, try trusting in what you want more than in what you don't want, and see if it makes a difference.
You've got this!
