Your subconscious brain is nefarious.

It does not want you to know the truth. So, it will hide the truth behind a "paywall" labeled "I don't know."

How can you get the new job you want?

"I don't know."

What would you love to be doing in your career?

"I don't know."

The simple fact, though, is that you do know. But knowing and taking action is scary.

To get past the paywall, ask a different question. Like, "If I did know how to get the next job, what would I be doing right now?"

You'll get ideas. As you act on the ideas, new ideas (or results!) will come. That will prompt new ideas. New actions. New results.

And then you can look back and realize that yes, you did know.
