First, I have a warning.

If you read this, you can't un-see it. You can't unlearn it. You can't un-understand.

Sorry. Not sorry.

If you're trying to follow someone else's plan for your life, including:

• parents
• teachers
• partner
• friends
• boss
• mentor
• ANYONE ELSE

You're living their life. Their dream. Their vision.

Not yours.

And I'm not saying it won't work out for you. It might. And I hope it does.

But, in my own experience, when you're chasing someone else's purpose, you help them, but you end up feeling a little unfulfilled. Empty.

It's OK to discover what lights you up and chase that.

And those people I listed above might be on board. And they might not be.

That's OK. You deserve to follow your dream. You don't have to settle for following their.
